It was for another line art he needed to have done for a customer (X) that was flying in from Norway and X’s only specifications was that the subject be of two fighting cooks + some flying cutlery. The reason – the man is a professional chef and the tattoos he has pretty much has to do with his profession ::grin::
My brother’s only specification was that the image include a kitchen and I had little less than a week to do it ::no pressure or anything, lol:: He is right to emphasize the time limit because I haven’t been very good at following them before. I wouldn’t have a choice but to respect them this time since X was flying in on the 15th specifically to see my brother (he asked me around the 9-10th) and D needed to have something to show X.
I did it. On time. Phew!
What follows is the version X went with: the lineart I did and the ‘bloodlines’ showing my brother’s version.
There are 3 files.
1) Shows X's back as I drew it out with the use of vectors in PS7. I did it so I could have a working reference for the different versions of my sketches that I'd transfer over to see which ones fitted best with the concept my brother wanted. Can be viewed at full size here.
The drawing also shows the preliminary version of the sketches my brother chose.
2) Shows the finished line art as done by my new pen tablet. Whoowhoo! Can be viewed at full size here.
3) Shows my brother's version as done with 'bloodlines'. It's the first photo of the tattoo as WiP. Can be viewed at full size here.

My brother is a very accomplished tattoo artist based in Sweden. In December of 08, when my sister and I were visiting the old country for the first time in 3 years, he asked me if I could draw an idea he had; a character from the horror genre playing the violin.
He wanted it to be his contribution to a tattoo convention taking place in May the following year.
The following work is the result of that collaboration. It’s the first one we ever did together and I’m very proud of it.
Steps taken:
The first thing I did was look through references of the character of our choice (once we decided on who it was going to be). Then I looked for references for a violin but found squat, so I had my sister take several photographs of me holding my violin in the position my brother wanted the character to stand. Once I had my selection picked out I sketched a bunch of different versions until my brother chose the winner. The decision made, I started adding details and cleaning the lines up. When the picture was mostly done I retraced every line with the vector tool and redid them using vector points.
Below you can see the result. The line art is done by me, the shading are by my brother and the final image is of the finished product done as a tattoo.

( I’m compiling a list of women that have been featured in Spn, weather as a recurring guest star or a one-shot, that have been for one reason or another memorable, and I need some help. )

Here are a few icons for you to enjoy!
Recently I started to make up a compilation of panels that will show the WiP’s I’m currently working on. The concept was borrowed from my sister – SilviHenna – as she’d done the same here.
The panels themselves don’t represent anything in particular; they are not part of a storyboard or anything like that. They are just a framework I used to add the individual screenshots of my WiP’s, though I did try to group them by characters or theme.
My intention is to complete the line art for all the individual ‘windows’ of the panels. The following tumb img shows the first one of these I’ve managed to complete. It’s “window 1” of my Current Projects: Panel 3.

Here are some Ruby icons I did yesterday. The images are form a couple of larger pics I'm currently working on in PS. This is new!Ruby, as portrayed by Genevive Cortese.
DM and the ROG do Dungeons and Dragons, or something...
( Here is the 4th. )( And it's reference pic... )
There is a story-idea behind this, but I'm not up to writing it down right now.
I stumbled over this screen cap from the original The Crow - movie featuring the dearly but departed Brandon Lee and very much liked the body position. I can very easily image lightening strike him and go through him, so I chose to use this screen cap as a reference pic for DM in the mist of a quickening. Here’s the first sketch.
As I’ve said before; I’m a prolific fanfic reader. A day doesn’t go by that I don’t read at least something in any of the fandom’s I’m into. Recently I’m on a Highlander kick and I stumbled upon MacGeorge’s ‘To Touch the Face’ – her Highlander/Constantine crossover. It’s a hoot! I love Gabriel’s point of view, his arrogance and humor, and I LOVE the idea that DM is in fact Archangel Michael, someone Gabe is planning on bringing back into the angelic fold to get into the Big Guy’s good graces again after the mess he made of things in the movie.
( This here is him. ) Duncan MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod as Archangel Michael.
It's my version of a tribute to someone who's writing I admire a lot.
This WiP comes with a plott bunny I'll add later on. It's one of the few I've actully started to write out into a fic.
Let's just say I grew tired of all - Oh-my-gosh-Blair-is-4000-years-old!fics
Here you get the close up.
It's done with a mouse by the way. ;)

And a wee close up!

What'ya think, sis?
The Reason: well, my sister wanted a 'manga' version of me for a project of hers. By the time I posted this somewhat cleaned up version of the scanning on to our gallery she'd jet to start, in fact when I asked she'd forgotten all about it.
Note: The funky hair style is due to the fact that the picture this is based on was taken when I had - not shaved, but close to it anyway - the front part of my head and left the back part longer.
Anyway, recently, when she started painting with PS - practicing painting characters from Angel and Buffy, not to mention Bones; her main fandom - she remembered and started coloring the sketch.
After some fumbling I finally managed to load those screenshot I took of two of my WIP’s to Photobucket. I’d forgotten my user info so I had to track them down. Said ‘screw it’ when I remembered PB has an option you can chose if you forget your user info - they’ll send it to your email. Luckily since I really, really didn’t want to go through the tons of crap I have – I’m in the process of moving again so having any kind of order is a sweet dream by now.
Anyway, here comes the first one.
( the first one )
That is it, for now.
Transformers II, please!
Bye!
See ya!
